To create Nests for the Trumpf CNC Punching and TruBend centre machines using BOOST (Trumpf) nesting software and RADAN nesting software, maximising material usage and minimising waste while ensuring that the production process is efficient and cost-effective.
Operation of RADAN & BOOST nesting software, ensuring that the cutting tools, machines, and other equipment are correctly configured for the nesting process, often working closely with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) operators or machine programmers.
- Ensuring adherence to Quality Procedures and Health and Safety protocols.
- Demonstrate leadership by consistently upholding and modelling the highest standards of safety, quality, and workplace behaviour, setting a positive example for others to follow.
- Proficiency with nesting software and cutting machine technology.
- Understanding of SolidWorks files.
- Understanding of Trumpf machines would be advantageous.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
