A bit about the role … Emota create unforgettable brand experiences that captivate audiences and push creative boundaries. As an award-winning experiential agency, we bring visions to life through the full spectrum of Meetings, Events and Exhibitions, underpinned by industry-leading sustainability, DEI, Health and Safety and ground-breaking production practices. We are delighted to present an opportunity for a Junior Environments Designer to join our Environments team and help us create moments that matter.

What will you do … As a Junior Environments Designer within the Emota Environments team, you will help bring environments and experiences to life across trade shows, pop-ups, and immersive installations for some of the world’s leading Pharmaceutical companies. You will work closely with senior designers, creatives, and project managers to turn ideas into thoughtful spatial concepts, visuals, and production-ready outputs. This role is all about curiosity, growth, and getting hands-on with the full design process.

  • Work with the team to understand client briefs — asking questions, exploring ideas, and helping shape the creative direction.
  • Take part in early ideation sessions, using sketches, mood boards, Gen AI, or whatever method fits best to communicate your ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Create 3D visuals and 2D technical drawings of your designs using industry-standard software (with support from the team as you grow).
  • Work closely with suppliers to resolve challenges, refine, and help bring your ideas to life.
  • Join regular project meetings with internal teams and clients to present and share your ideas and designs.
  • Visit onsite builds to see your designs take shape and support the production team where needed.

What do you need to have … A creative spark for problem-solving and a natural instinct for designing spaces that shape how people feel, move, and interact. A real appetite to learn from others and grow your design craft. Willingness to collaborate within a busy, multidisciplinary team. Basic familiarity with industry tools (Cinema4D, Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) — or confidence you can pick them up quickly.

We promote opportunities to learn, grow, train and get involved in broader workstreams that add to our work culture as well as a number of reward and recognition initiatives. Inizio Engage, XD offers a suite of benefits and perks including (but not limited to):

  • Great compensation package
  • 25 days’ annual leave plus public holidays, company closure over Christmas plus a personal day.
  • Volunteering leave
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Life Insurance
  • Pension Scheme
