As a Lead Driver, you are a professional on the road and a trusted point of contact within the team. You help ensure safe operations, high standards, and a positive working culture. Your responsibilities include:
- Driving modern 2WIN double‑deck box trailers with tail lifts to UK RDC locations.
- Supporting the Transport Manager in the day‑to‑day operation of the UK fleet.
- Acting as a role model for safety, vehicle care and professional behaviour.
- Optional European trips for drivers who are interested, with full training on all specialist equipment.
We know the UK market is crowded, so we’ve built a package that respects your skills, your leadership, and your lifestyle:
- Fair pay & recognition: £17.00 per hour, £1.00 Lead / Skill premium, Overtime opportunities, Paid parking, Reliability bonus.
- £1,800 per year performance bonus paid as two fixed instalments of £900 (July & December) based on full attendance and zero at‑fault damage.
- Driver CPC fully paid, including your hourly wage for attendance, so no lost weekends.
- Training and development within a European logistics organisation.
- Your truck is your workplace, with a new 2026 fleet, a microwave, fridge and high‑capacity inverter as standard, and clean, safe and well‑maintained vehicles.
We are looking for professionals who take pride in their work, and:
- Have a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ Class 1 experience.
- Have proven experience or the natural ability to act as a lead Driver, setting the standard for others.
- Have an interest in working with high‑quality, specialised equipment.
- Possess a technical mindset: enjoy learning how to operate specialized, high-value equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness and reporting; take pride in a spotless truck.
