We’re looking for a friendly and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join a well-established and successful online furniture retailer in Paignton. As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll support customers from first enquiry to after-sales care, answer questions via phone, email, and chat, and ensure every interaction is professional and positive.
This Customer Service Advisor role is part of a supportive, collaborative team in a modern environment, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career. The company has very low staff turnover because employees genuinely enjoy their jobs.
Responsibilities:- Handle customer enquiries and guide them through online orders
- Process orders, payments, returns, and refunds accurately
- Resolve queries and complaints professionally
- Keep clear records and ensure every customer feels valued
- Experience in customer service or sales (all motivated candidates considered)
- Friendly, calm, and confident approach
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable using computers and online systems
- Flexible to work occasional weekends
Full-time (40 hours over five days). Flexible schedule may include one full weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday), two Saturdays, or two Sundays, with time off during the week. Patterns can be adjusted to suit individual needs.
