Job Type: Field Sales Executive Renumeration: £26,000 – £35,000 plus a £60,000 OTE Benefits: Company Car (Land Rover Defender), pension scheme, holidays, company events, parking and excellent Quarterly Bonus Scheme Hours: Permanent, Mon – Fri, 40 hours A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Field Sales Executive has arisen to join a large and well established building materials business based in Hull and East Yorkshire. The business has grown at a rapid rate over the last few years and has acquired a number of other construction and building materials companies across the North of the UK. As they plan for the future they are hiring for a further Field Sales Executive to complete a mixture of business development and account management in the construction sector. The successful Field Sales Executive will report to the Sales Manager and be responsible for: * Visiting customers and prospective customers on a pre-arranged appointment or cold calling basis * Managing your own diary, booking appointments with key buyers/Site Managers * Responsible for maintaining relationships with existing customers * Dealing with incoming enquiries and ensuring all are responded to and priced accurately and in a timely manner * Chasing up leads and generating new business in your area * Identifying new prospects in your designated area * To promote and up-sell new and existing products / services to new business customers/existing accounts * Work on your own initiative and price within set guidelines when quoting customers ensuring all quotes and orders are commercially viable, focusing on maximising profits * Liaise with Managers to get correct costings and ensure works can be completed in line with EA Permits and resources * Report on pipeline opportunities, new leads, new accounts and opportunities won / lost on a monthly basis * Support in accidents, incident and near miss investigations by providing statements and evidence where required * Set a personal example with regard to health and safety matters, promoting the safety culture through observations, site standards and workplace safety The successful Field Sales Executive will have the following experience: * A people focused individual who loves people contact * Pro-active attitude * Tenacious individual who is highly results focused * Money motivated * Ideally have experience within sales, customer service or people focused role This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to significantly gain financially and love people contact.
