We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to join a well-established and growing business in Grimsby, specialising in controlled environment solutions for leading food processing and pharmaceutical companies. What you’ll be doing
- Support Project Managers in planning and delivering projects from start to finish
- Attend site visits with PMs and Engineers to understand environments and monitor progress
- Work closely with Procurement to manage supplier relationships and orders
- Support Estimating teams with variation quotes and project changes
- Collaborate with CAD teams to assist in developing technical drawings
- Help complete O&M manuals and project documentation packs
- Assist with RAMS preparation and work with the H&S Manager to minimise project risks
- Maintain clear communication across internal teams, contractors and clients
As you develop, you’ll gain experience in
- Coordinating internal resources and external contractors for smooth delivery
- Defining project scopes, objectives and stakeholder requirements
- Managing timelines, budgets and project performance reporting
- Supporting client relationships and ensuring documentation is accurate and complete
- Risk management and safe delivery practices across regulated environments
- Delivering full project lifecycle responsibility over time
What you’ll bring
- 2-3 years’ experience in a Junior Project Manager / Project Coordinator role, or a relevant degree in project or construction management
- Clean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK
- Understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
- Awareness of quality and health & safety standards
- Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with project management software
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder skills
- A proactive team player with clear leadership potential
