WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Providing day-to-day HR advice, guidance and coaching to managers and employees across the business.
  • Managing a range of employee relations cases, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance matters.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee development and performance management activities.
  • Advising on HR policies, procedures and UK employment legislation to ensure a fair and consistent approach.
  • Supporting HR projects, organisational change and wider people initiatives designed to improve engagement, retention and the employee experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Previous experience as an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or in a similar role.
  • A CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification, or progress towards one, would be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and practical experience managing employee relations cases.
  • The confidence to advise, coach and constructively challenge managers at all levels, from the shop floor through to senior management.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • A proactive, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach, combined with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
