Key Responsibilities: * Experienced within an Architectural metal work environment * Ability to successful manage multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines * Analyse project specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates * Evaluate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs to create accurate budgets * Assess risks and incorporate contingencies where necessary * Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project scope and requirements * Engage with supply chain to obtain competitive pricing * Prepare detailed proposal documents and cost summaries for client presentations * Track and manage changes to project estimates during the planning and execution phases * Stay updated on industry trends, cost fluctuations, and new technologies to improve accuracy * Conduct market research to ensure competitive and fair pricing strategies * Able to understand and interpret technical drawings, producing 3D images (SketchUp) would be advantageous Personality: * Strong analytical skills with attention to detail * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines * Strong numerical and problem-solving skills * Team-oriented with a proactive approach to collaboration * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools
