Emmaus Mossley is currently recruiting for a new Retail & E-commerce Coordinator to build on our successful social enterprise. Emmaus Mossley is a charity that empowers people to overcome homelessness for good. We provide people with the foundation of a home and life‑changing tailored support. We’re here for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We see the person and their strengths – and help them get their life back on track, based on the future they want to create. When people are ready, we support them to find, secure and move in to their own permanent home.
Nestled in the Tame Valley, our residential community is home for up to 26 people at any one time. Our residents have a home, a purpose and a chance to make a real contribution to their community.
About the role
Every sale at Emmaus Mossley helps sustain our community and supports people who have experienced homelessness. Through our social enterprise, we generate the income that enables us to provide a home, tailored support and work experience, while creating opportunities for companions to develop skills, confidence and independence.
As our Retail & E-commerce Coordinator, you will play a key role in the success of our social enterprise. Working alongside companions, volunteers and colleagues, you will maximise the value of donated goods through our Secondhand Superstore and online sales channels. This is a varied, hands‑on role requiring sound commercial judgement, good organisational skills and a strong collaborative approach. The successful candidate will share our values, be committed to continuous improvement and understand that commercial success enables Emmaus Mossley to continue delivering its mission.
