Sussex Emmaus is looking to recruit a Support Worker to support companions (residents) living and working at the community.
About the role
Emmaus Sussex is looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to provide person-centred support to people who have experienced homelessness. Working alongside residents, you will offer practical and emotional support that empowers individuals to live, work and thrive within the Emmaus community. Using a strengths-based approach, you will encourage and support residents to build resilience, develop independence and achieve their personal goals.
The role involves helping individuals maximise their skills and potential, accessing external services and specialist support where needed. You will also work with residents to develop move on plans, supporting those who wish to progress towards independent living when they are ready.

SALARY: £29,560 per annum
