Our students are at the heart of everything we do, and their enthusiasm, resilience, and spirit make this a truly rewarding place to work. We are an ambitious Catholic school that combines academic excellence with strong Catholic family values; we care about people and standards in equal measure.
We are part of St Joseph Catholic Multi Academy Trust, a mission-driven and growing Trust with a strong track record of school improvement, committed to improving children’s life chances through an outstanding Catholic education. Our school is at an exciting stage. Having successfully addressed behaviour and attendance issues, we are now focused on the quality of education—curriculum, teaching and learning—and are seeking to appoint a second Deputy Headteacher to take overall responsibility for these areas.
You are likely to have a strong curriculum and teaching and learning background at whole-school level, having progressed through a Head of Department route rather than a pastoral route, and currently be at Assistant Head or Deputy Head level.
