The Governors of Holy Family RC Primary School, Oldham are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils both in class, on a one-to-one basis, as well as in small groups and during social times. You will play a key role in supporting learning, encouraging independence and helping pupils feel safe, confident and included. The role includes personal care and manual handling.

Holy Family are looking for someone who:

What you will do:

  • Support pupils’ learning in the classroom alongside the teacher
  • Work with individuals and small groups
  • Help monitor progress and support individual plans (including EHCPs)
  • Encourage positive behaviour and participation throughout the day
  • Cover Lunchtime and breaktime duties on a rota basis

Contract/Hours of work: Fixed Term for 12 months 32.5 hours per week term time + 5 days (39 weeks)
