The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
You will lead plans to support students with special educational needs and disabilities who experience barriers to learning due to sensory and/or physical needs, by assessing student needs and identifying appropriate support for students and parents/carers. You will particularly focus on leading and managing provision for students with Sensory and Physical needs, including close liaison with external professionals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage provision for students with sensory and physical needs, including liaison with external professionals.
- Work closely with SEND leadership, the Sensory Support Service, parents/carers and wider staff to ensure students’ sensory and physical needs are met effectively within the mainstream environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
- We are looking for a team member who is a people person, an effective listener, can communicate effectively with students and families, is competent in dealing with parental queries and the handling of sensitive information, and can maintain an atmosphere of calm control in an emergency situation.
