Bede Academy has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our Pastoral Support Team. This team undertakes academy-wide behaviour support roles and works closely with staff and students to provide support, guidance and administrative assistance.

The post holder will provide support to vulnerable students and implement clearly articulated policies and procedures that ensure all students succeed and thrive. We expect you to work efficiently, responsibly and be a reliable team member.

We are looking for a team member who:

  • is a people person
  • can communicate effectively with students and families
  • is an effective listener
  • consequently deals with parental queries and handling of sensitive information competently
  • can maintain an atmosphere of calm control in an emergency situation
