About This Role

Bede Academy\'s kitchen is at the heart of daily school life, with our catering team producing hundreds of healthy, nutritious meals for students, staff and visitors every day, and catering for special events within the academic year.
The Assistant Cook reported to the Catering Manager to assist generally with the preparations and service of meals, including cleaning and washing duties to the stand specified by the Catering Manager.
We Are Looking For An Assistant Cook Who
- holds an NVQ 2 in Catering or equivalent
- experienced in preparing, cooking and serving hot and cold food with a large catering operation
- can work on own initiative and works well with a team
