Emmanuel Christian School (Year 1 to 10) is a thriving, Bible-based learning community in Christchurch experiencing an exciting season of staged roll growth. We are seeking a passionate, visionary leader for the position of Deputy Principal: Head of Primary (Years 1 to 6). Working as a key member of the senior leadership team, you will provide educational, pedagogical, and pastoral leadership across the primary school, seamlessly integrating a Biblical Worldview with the New Zealand Curriculum.
We are seeking a leader who:
- demonstrates an unqualified commitment to our evangelical Christian special character, an active personal faith, and regular church involvement
- brings proven instructional leadership, curriculum oversight, and strong relational skills
- fosters an orderly, safe, and nurturing environment for students and staff.
Special character condition: This is a tagged position under Section 47 of Schedule 6 of the Education and Training Act 2020. A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.
