We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support our store at Manchester Arndale, working closely with the Store Manager to be the main driver of sales, motivate our Sleep Experts, deliver an exceptional customer experience, maintain strong operational and visual merchandising standards, and confidently take ownership of the store when required.
What you will do:
- Support the Store Manager in day-to-day store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient running.
- Assist in motivating and managing the Sleep Experts (sales staff) to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Advise customers on products to help them achieve the ultimate night's sleep, enhancing the customer experience.
- Perform engaging and insightful tests with colleagues to improve teamwork and store performance.
- Oversee administrative tasks, stock management, and shift coordination, ensuring the sales floor is always optimized for conversion.
- Execute all visual merchandising guidelines to the highest standards, maintaining consistent in-store presentation.
- Manage customer interactions and ensure a seamless, high-quality end-to-end experience, driving customer satisfaction.
- Take ownership of the store when required, confidently managing operations in the absence of the Store Manager with a strong business mindset.
What we are looking for:
- You bring more than 2-3 years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager or Senior Sales Associate in a retail environment.
- Smart, energetic, and eager to achieve great goals as part of a dynamic team.
- Demonstrate strong sales skills with a proactive, customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to interpret daily performance data and translate it into actionable steps that drive results.
- Constantly seeks new challenges or improvements within the store, never content with the status quo.

- Fluent in English.
