Environment: Demonstrable experience in global, matrixed environments, including coordinating across time zones, cultures, and reporting lines; preferably in a payments or fintech environment.
Knowledge: Understanding of multiple regulatory frameworks across key jurisdictions (EU, UK, APAC and US), including the ability to interpret and apply common principles across jurisdictions, testing methodologies, and risk assessment frameworks. Deep knowledge of compliance testing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices across multiple regulatory domains. Professional certifications such as from the International Compliance Association (ICA), or other relevant credentials preferred.
Technical: Experience with compliance testing technologies, automation tools, and assurance platforms. Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional testing initiatives.
Team: Strong communication and influencing skills, capable of working with senior leaders across business and risk domains; experience managing a small team on a day-to-day basis, prioritising work to meet deadlines, and coaching more junior team members to help them develop and ensure they deliver high-quality work.
