EML Payments is a global leader in the fintech space. Our mission is to create awesome, instant, and secure payment solutions that connect our customers to their customers, anytime, anywhere, wherever money is in motion. Our Purpose is to inspire transformative digital change for our customers and communities.
Role Purpose
This role is a senior execution integrator within the Programme Control Tower, responsible for driving end-to-end coordination, plan integrity, and execution discipline across multiple workstreams (Product, Platform, Migration, Country Readiness, Vendors). The role ensures the programme runs as a joined-up system, not a set of disconnected initiatives with clear visibility, managed dependencies, and proactive intervention where delivery risk emerges. This is not a passive reporting role. It requires someone who can challenge, structure, and drive delivery across senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrated Plan Oversight & Challenge
- Manage & ensure alignment to the integrated programme plan
- Interrogate workstream plans to ensure realistic timelines
- Challenge gaps, assumptions, and inconsistencies in planning
- Ensure all plans are aligned to programme outcomes and milestones, not just activity
- Cross-Workstream Coordination
- Act as a central coordination point across Product, Engineering, Migration, Vendors, and Country teams
- Drive alignment across priorities and milestones
- Facilitate cross-workstream forums to resolve conflicts, misalignment, and gaps in ownership
- Identify hidden or emerging dependencies, engaging the right stakeholders, escalating early where required
- Execution Tracking & Delivery Discipline
- Track delivery against milestones and outcomes
- Move teams away from status reporting to real delivery accountability
- Identify early warning signs of slippage, delivery risk, and misalignment
- Support high-quality reporting into weekly programme reviews with clear insights and decision points
- Ensure reporting reflects reality, not optimism
- Identify and clearly articulate decisions required and the impact of delays or inaction
- Support the Programme Director by framing trade-offs and driving timely resolution
- Standards, Ways of Working & Tooling
- Enforce consistent delivery standards across workstreams: RAID management
- Ensure effective use of programme tools (e.g. Jira, Smartsheet)
- Maintain a single source of truth for delivery status
Experience Required
- 7–12 years’ experience in large-scale transformation or platform programmes
- Multi-workstream, complex environments
- Technology-led transformations (ideally fintech / payments / platform)
- Experience working across Product, Operations, and third-party vendors
Core Skills
- Strong planning and structuring capability
- Ability to challenge constructively and influence without authority
- Strong dependency and risk awareness
- High-quality communication and reporting skills
- Ability to cut through noise and identify what matters
Profile We Are Looking For
- Proactive, not reactive — spots issues early and acts
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and bringing structure
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders and holding them to account
- Focused on outcomes, not just process
- Detail-oriented but able to maintain a programme-level view
Red Flags (What This Role Is Not)
- This role is not suitable for someone who only tracks actions and produces reports
- Avoids challenging senior stakeholders
- Focuses on a single workstream rather than system-wide delivery
- Waits for direction instead of driving outcomes
How This Role Supports the Transformation Delivery Director
- Connector of plans and delivery reality
- Escalation engine for risks and blockers
