Role Description

This is a contract-based online role for an English Language Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for delivering well-structured, engaging English lessons to learners at various proficiency levels. Core duties include planning online sessions in advance, teaching through clear lesson stages, monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining reliable communication.

The role also involves conducting short consultations or trial lessons for prospective students, assigning and correcting homework, completing brief progress reports, and contributing to a supportive, organised online learning environment. Teachers work within a defined methodology and collaborate professionally with the wider team when needed.

Qualifications

• CELTA certification is required.

• Strong ability to plan and deliver clear, well-staged online English lessons.

• Confidence teaching learners of varying levels and cultural backgrounds.

• Effective communication skills and a supportive, student-focused approach.

• Professional reliability, punctuality, and steady online classroom management.

• Experience teaching online or in structured ELT frameworks is an advantage.

• A degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is welcome but not mandatory.
