THE ROLE As part of our diverse team based in Newcastle, you will help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose. The purpose of the role is to be responsible for processing and managing workers compensation claims lodgments including the handling of phone lodgements from customers, and to support the business having claims allocated into a team equipped to deliver appropriate return to work strategies with an optimal customer experience. This will be a Permanent Full-Time position based in the Newcastle office, with flexibility to work from home.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather comprehensive information at lodgement to ensure claim is assigned to the most appropriate segment to meet specific customer needs
- Provide education to our customers on the claims management process
- Improve overall quality of phone lodgement and communication
- Encourage proactive and open communication with key stakeholders during the lodgement information gathering process
