We’re growing our sales team, and are looking for motivated, driven individuals to help drive forward revenue and develop their career as we develop EMJ to become the go-to place for healthcare professionals globally. The Associate team and role can be thought of as an ‘academy’, or the perfect first role in your sales career, where you will be working closely with one of our Senior Sales team to source and set up opportunities that generate revenue for the business. You will be instrumental in supporting Senior Sales throughout the whole sales process, gaining hands-on experience and tailored training.

  • Telesales Experience (Desirable): Prior telesales or phone-based experience is a plus.

What you’ll do

  • Learn the Industry: Immerse yourself in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industry, understand your therapy area, client base and competitors.
  • Master Our Sales Process: You will learn and master our tried and tested sales process through a structured curriculum, receiving ongoing support from your manager and comprehensive training materials to ensure your success.
  • Generate Quality Appointments: Proactively outreach to potential clients through multichannel prospecting, focusing on driving revenue through setting up quality appointments for Senior Sales.
  • Support the End-to-End Sales Cycle: Work closely with the Senior Sales team on all stages of the sales process, and assist with lead sourcing, proposal creation, contracting, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Review Performance & Meet KPIs: Monitor your own performance against key performance indicators and strive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Represent the Company at Events (Post-Target): Once hitting target, you'll have the opportunity to visit clients and represent the company at exhibitions, events, and congresses, expanding our impact.

  • Salary: £30,000
  • Commission: 3% on all revenue - uncapped (1st OTE £40,000+)
  • Reports to: Sales Manager
  • Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Mon-Fri
  • Location: This role is based onsite in our London/Moorgate office
