EMJ is looking for an enthusiastic all-round Designer with a focus on digital to form part of our talented growing Design team.
You will work on a variety of digital aspects including our range of EMJ group websites, our journal publications, animated videos, infographics, user journey and also an opportunity to support with other internal projects across the EMJ brand.

Expectations
- Design for digital platforms with a good understanding of cross platform optimisation.
- Improve our user journey throughout our products across EMJ.
- Collaborate with our digital marketing team when it comes to website developments and continue to work with external developers to improve the design and experience.
- Contribute to creative idea generation.
- Upload content to our websites.
- Take ownership of all our video and animated content across EMG-Health brands. Editing, improving and publishing.
- Oversee platforms we use across the company to showcase our content and continue to look at ways to improve our user experience.
- Produce and develop marketing collateral.
- During peak times help the team deliver all products on time to a high standard. This could include producing publication spreads and email campaigns.
- Maintain brand consistency across the work you produce.
- Support with ad-hoc in-house projects for other departments.
Experience Required
- Proven design experience in creating high-profile digital projects.
- Digital & graphic design experience with a strong portfolio that also demonstrates a passion for interactive content development.
- Proficient in industry leading software (Adobe Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Dreamweaver, and Premier), WordPress, etc.
- Experience in video editing / motion graphics / animation (3D modelling would be an advantage – Cinema 4D).
- Evidence of excellent layout skills for brochures, journals, or annual reports.
- Experience in website design.
- Examples of great graphic illustrations.
- Excellent time management skills, and a proven record of delivering projects on time.
- Always abreast of latest design trends and industry innovations and share with the wider team.
- Confident at articulating your design process to help ‘non-designers’ or clients to understand.
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative without hands-on guidance.
- ‘Gold Medal’ winner mentality.
Key Information
- Salary: Negotiable.
- Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Mon-Fri.
- Working pattern: Up to 2 days flexibility to work from home (FT in office during probation).
- Location: London/Moorgate office.
