Requirements
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for editing and improving scientific text
- Excellent written and spoken English, along with strong computer skills (Excel and Word)
- The ability to manage tight deadlines and handle high workloads effectively
- Knowledge of Adobe InCopy or audio editing would be an advantage but is not essential
- An enthusiastic team player who takes pride in delivering high-quality work

- Editing content to the highest standard by ensuring scientific information is clear, accurate, and engaging
- Proofreading text, tables, and figures, identifying errors, and ensuring everything follows EMJ’s house style
- Working with the editorial team to meet timelines for upcoming journal issues
- Supporting colleagues across departments while contributing as an enthusiastic team player
- Opportunity to contribute to content creation through writing news stories
Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Mon-Fri
