About the role

We're a growing energy technology company helping businesses across multiple sectors cut energy consumption and carbon emissions through hardware, software, and data. As our project portfolio expands, we're looking for a Data Analyst to join the team and support our existing analyst with the monitoring, analysis, and reporting that sits at the heart of what we do.

You'll work across live installations - tracking energy savings, usage patterns, and system performance - and turn that data into clear reports for clients and internal teams. You'll also join client calls to walk through results, so the ability to communicate data clearly and confidently matters as much as the analytical side.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitor project data across active installations
  • Compile client-ready reports
  • Collaborate with the projects, sales, and operations teams
  • Ensure clients genuinely understand the results we're delivering for them

What we're looking for

  • Someone analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally
  • Confident presenting data to non-technical audiences
  • Happy picking up the phone (or jumping on a Teams call) when a client has a question
  • Experience in energy, sustainability, or a project-based environment would be a bonus but isn't essential

Why Emissis

Small team, real impact. You'll have visibility across the whole business and your work will directly support the evidence base for millions of pounds of energy savings for our clients.

Skills & Experience

  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Excel / Google Sheets (strong working knowledge, including pivot tables and dashboard development)
  • Python (data manipulation and analysis)
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
  • Ability to build and validate regression models to quantify relationships between energy consumption and variables such as temperature, occupancy, and production output
  • Comfortable presenting data to non-technical audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Good communicator - written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience in energy, utilities, or a project-based environment (desirable, not essential)
