Here at Optum, we are currently recruiting for a Clinical Software Trainer to join us on a 12-18 month fixed-term contract. This position is a field-based role and requires travel across Northern Ireland to deliver on-site training. You will therefore be based in Northern Ireland and hold a full clean driving license.
We are looking for individuals who have an aptitude for delivering training, whether from a previous training position or a passion for coaching and mentoring. You will be joining a collaborative team of Clinical Software Trainers who are responsible for delivering training sessions to GP Practices that are migrating to our electronic patient record software solution, known as EMIS Web. In this position, you will receive a supportive onboarding journey that will enable you to deliver high-quality training on-site and remotely.
What you'll do:
- Deliver training sessions in varied settings and styles to a variety of audiences, including one-to-one, small group sessions, seminar style events, and train the trainer on-site or remotely.
- Travel to site, including multiple overnight stays in a week.
- Delivery of Transformation services to established customers, identifying and implementing high complexity solutions.
- Collection and analysis of customer and/or user requirements and processes, matching these needs to Optum Health products and services.
- Advise and provide support to our customers regarding all aspects of the configuration of the Optum Group products.
Who You'll Be:
At Optum, we will provide you with training on our systems and delivery sessions. We are looking for you to have a genuine passion for excellent customer delivery. We don’t need you to have previous experience in clinical software training; we can teach you this. However, we are looking for individuals who have experience in coaching, mentoring, or training.
Collaboration is key; you will work closely with our customers to understand their training needs during the migration process and with internal departments and the wider team to troubleshoot any queries. You should have the ability to contribute to the creation of dynamic training materials that support knowledge transfer. Flexibility to travel throughout Northern Ireland and potentially the UK to deliver training and service on-site with customers is required.
About us:
Optum is a global organisation that delivers care, aided by technology to help millions of people live healthier lives. The work you do with our team will directly improve health outcomes by connecting people with the care, pharmacy benefits, data, and resources they need to feel their best. Here, you will find a culture guided by diversity and inclusion, talented peers, comprehensive benefits, and career development opportunities.
