About Us: We are Lancashire Cricket Club, a prestigious sports and leisure organisation based in Manchester. We are currently seeking a talented Conference and Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
Job Purpose: To co‑ordinate all event details and to produce a function sheet that reflects customer requirements accurately and on time. Contributing to the annual sales target by encouraging repeat business and constantly seeking opportunities to up‑sell to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all event details, produce function sheets, manage client timings, menus, special diets, signage, and liaise with suppliers to exceed client expectations.
- Support the sales team with show‑rounds, post‑event follow‑ups, feedback analysis, and account management to drive repeat business and up‑selling.
- Promote facilities to new and existing clients, generate leads, and assist with business development through networking events, exhibitions, and FAM trips.
- Deliver exceptional guest service, including meeting and greeting clients and handling complaints professionally.
- Manage internal and client meetings, ensuring effective communication across all relevant departments.
- Cover Operations Managers when required and provide operational support at stadium‑wide events during the season.
- Maintain accurate administration in booking systems (Delphi.fdc, Secutix), event paperwork, Health.
