Overview
Emirates Airport Services Agent β Heathrow, Hounslow, United Kingdom. Provide assistance to customers on arrival and departure, ensuring high quality and professional customer service at all times.
Responsibilities
- Ascertain the requirements of various categories of customers (e.g., unaccompanied minors, customers with reduced mobility) ensuring appropriate special services and facilities are provided to meet their needs.
- Coordinate the airport operation of chauffeur-driven limousines for eligible customers after arrival and open the Emirates arrival information desk.
- Monitor arrival immigration issues, retrieve relevant documentation, and report accordingly while adhering to travel, immigration and safety regulations.
- Monitor check-in processes, keep customers informed of delays, identify and give priority to Premium customers, and maintain service standards.
- Assist in, and if necessary conduct, the preparation and completion of pre- and post-flight documentation and statistical reporting to ensure data accuracy.
- Provide cover in the absence of senior team members during leave, sickness or training as directed by the Airport Services Officer or other senior colleague.
- Assist with problems such as delays, disruptions, excess baggage or denied boarding, including implementation of options within guidelines to retain customer confidence and loyalty; provide eligible customers with accommodation and transport as per procedures.
- Where required, assist with check-in and boarding at gates per procedures, provide announcements, handle hand baggage removal, manage late-to-gate customers, reconcile flight coupons and confirm head counts to ensure safe and on-time departures.
- Monitor baggage delivery performance against standards, keep customers informed of delays or irregularities, and monitor baggage services quality per Emirates SOP.
- Support duties in the Emirates lounge when required; liaise with service providers and supervise contracted staff to ensure service standards are met and maintained.
- Make decisions affecting day-to-day operations in line with local procedures.
- Work across all areas of airport operation, including check-in, boarding, ramp and lounge.
- Adhere to relevant health and safety requirements and safe working practices applicable to employment.
Qualifications
- Minimum βOβ Level or equivalent
- Airline industry experience is required
- Experience within a Premium Lounge environment, hospitality, or F&B industry is advantageous
- Completed relevant and recognized professional training courses in Customer Services and Ground Operations
- Knowledge of basic fares and ticketing is advantageous
- Customer service delivery and fluency in written and spoken English
