Eminent Financial is an Appointed Representative of Openwork. We provide financial services in insurance, mortgages, pensions and investments. We are expanding and looking for exceptional people to own and grow our insurance business. Hiring is not based on years of experience but on your attitude, drive and ambition. The ideal candidate is ambitious, coachable and driven to achieve greatness. Successful candidates will be trained and have a pool of support available to them. Previous industry experience is not required.

The Role

As a self-employed protection adviser, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients assess their insurance needs and recommending suitable protection plans. You will be responsible for providing expert advice, building strong client relationships, and ensuring that your clients have the coverage they need to protect themselves and loved ones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and insurance needs.
  • Insurance Analysis: Evaluate clients' current insurance coverage and financial situations to identify gaps in protection and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of various insurance products (incl. life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, multiprotect, childshield and whole of life).
  • Customized Solutions: Tailor insurance recommendations to meet each client's unique circumstances and budget.
  • Policy Presentations: Present insurance options to clients clearly and transparently, explaining benefits, premiums, and terms in a comprehensible manner.
  • Sales and Client Acquisition: Actively prospect for new clients and generate leads through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all insurance transactions and recommendations comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular follow-ups and reviews of their insurance portfolios.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of client interactions, applications, and policy details.

Position Requirements

  • PC literate, confident using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) insurance software and CRM systems.
  • Communication: Confident communicator (face-to-face, verbal and written) with strong customer engagement skills.
  • Self-driven and able to work independently.
  • Motivation: Highly motivated with a drive to deliver sales targets and outstanding client outcomes.
  • Organisation: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time and focus to maximise productivity.
  • Proactive about learning and willing to complete Continuous Professional Development (CPD) tasks.
