The Emil Frey Racing Team is part of the Emil Frey Group, a leading company in the Swiss automotive industry. The main activities of the Emil Frey Group include the import of various motor vehicles, the operation of garages and the provision of financial services. We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver and Tyre Technician in a permanent position, competing in European Championships starting in January 2026. This is a full-time position based in Switzerland. Join the team and support us on our mission.
Your profile
- Strong technical background with proven reliability, resilience, and adaptability in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to take responsibility, work independently, and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- You are dynamic, highly motivated, loyal, and thrive in a collaborative team setting.
- Familiarity with Windows Office / Excel applications.
- A good level in English, both written and spoken, is required. German is a plus.
- You have a qualification (preferably in mechanics or an adjacent field) or relevant experience in motorsports.
- You have good mechanical and manual skills and have worked ideally as a mechanic at motorsport events or as a tyre technician.
- You have a valid driving license of class C and CE (including the entry of the code number 95 in the driving license) and several years of driving experience.
- Willingness to intensive travel activity.
- A distinctive team spirit, a high degree of flexibility, resilience, sense of duty as well as the ability to achieve optimal results even under time pressure are your distinguishing features.
- Willingness to work overtime and at weekends and willing to work evenings and weekends and work in all types of weather.
The Position
- Working in a team and crew at the racetrack and in the workshop, ensuring seamless collaboration and high performance.
- To compete in DTM and GTWC including pre-seasonal and in-seasonal testing.
- Ensure flawless vehicle operation during races and tests, proactively addressing any technical issues.
- Set up and set down of the infrastructure at the track.
- Truck driving between Switzerland and racetracks defined by the different Championships.
- Garage set up and set down before and after the event.
- Tyre management during tests and races according to instructions of the Engineering.
- Preparing and maintaining race and test equipment.
- Maintenance of truck and trailer fleet.
- Preparation of customs documents.
