Join Our People & Culture Team
We’re looking for a highly organised, people-focused People & Culture Administrator to join our team in Barbican. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is highly organised, people focused and enjoys working in a busy environment. As a key member of our People & Culture team, you’ll play an important role in supporting our people throughout their employee journey and helping to ensure our people processes run smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding activities
- Maintaining employee records and HR systems
- Supporting with the implementation of our new HRIS
- Coordinating learning and development initiatives and training bookings
- Providing first-line support for people-related queries
- Assisting with the delivery of People & Culture activities across the business

Key Duties:
- HR Administration: Maintain and update systems and records across COINS, IMS, and internal trackers. This includes saving training certificates, updating the training matrix and budget sheets, and managing absence trackers (including annual leave and sickness). You will also maintain benefit records, employee data changes, and timesheets. Additional responsibilities include payroll updates, issuing contractual change notifications and company letters, and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: You will be responsible for the facilitation of onboarding and offboarding processes for Emico employees. This includes ensuring right-to-work checks are completed and maintained, scheduling inductions, and issuing diary invites, new starter documentation, and system updates. You will support recruitment activities by assisting with job advertisements, saving CVs, and coordinating interviews. You will also support offboarding processes by completing system updates and issuing required notifications.
- Email Management: You will manage the internal People & Culture inboxes and act as a first point of contact for the function. This includes ensuring all emails across P&C, Training, and Recruitment are reviewed, responded to, or escalated within agreed timeframes. Responsibilities also include handling general administrative tasks such as reference requests, manager changes, and providing guidance to employees.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate and schedule meetings, interviews, inductions, workshops, and follow-up actions, while effectively managing diaries to support P&C activities.
- Learning & Development Administration: Support the booking and coordination of employee training. This includes reviewing mandatory training requirements, maintaining training records, scheduling workshops, sending reminders and notifications, and coordinating the booking and tracking of training courses.
- Audit & Compliance Support: Support the wider People & Culture team with audit preparation including document collation from employee files, reminders and compliance updates, providing policies for tenders and supporting tender responses. You will be responsible for the saving and notification of audit certifications.
