Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Stockport for a Technical Sales Support Engineer. The primary responsibility is to provide technical advice and support to both clients and internal teams, ensuring product compatibility and performance alignment with client requirements. Daily tasks include managing sales operations, responding to technical inquiries, assisting with customer proposals, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions. The role also involves maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to sales strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and business growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in Technical Sales, Technical Sales Support, and understanding customer requirements
• Proficiency in Technical Support and resolving client queries effectively
• Strong Analytical Skills for assessing product performance and compatibility
• Knowledge of Sales Operations, including proposal preparation and documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with engineering documentation, standards, and instrumentation is a plus
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification is preferred
• Ability to work on‑site in Stockport and collaborate effectively in a team environment
