Support Worker
Location: Shirebrook, Derbyshire
Hours: 3x 35-hour positions available
Salary: £12.94 per hour
As this post will be responsible for providing personal care for female service users, we are seeking female applicants only. Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.

Hello, we are three ladies that live in the Shirebrook area. We are looking for someone friendly that can support us to live our lives in a way that is fun, sensory and person centred.
We have a lot of different interests between us. Some of our favourite things are:
- Music, singing and dancing
- Hair styling and nail painting
- Sweet treats
- Shopping and going out
- Sensory toys and games
We are looking for someone who has the following qualities:
- Encouraging and friendly
- Patient
- Committed, reliable and a team player
- Has a sense of humour, is fun and will have a laugh with us
- Is able to follow individual plans and support structured routines
- Skilled in non-verbal communication and is able to recognise it and use it
- Able to provide sensory support to make activities engaging
- It is essential that you are able to work waking nights, weekends and bank holidays, have a full UK driver's license and are able to drive manual cars
