Lettings Negotiator (North) - x2 positions available

1 X Full- Time Permanent

1 X Fixed Term Contract /Internal 6 month Secondment

Location/Base: Homebased (Designated office: Longfield House, Ilkeston)

Travel is required across parts of Ilkeston and South Derbyshire.

(This role is community based and desk based with a combination of working from emh offices, community hubs and home).

Hours: 35 hours week, working Monday to Friday
Salary: £28,166 - £31,295 per annum (RFJ 5)

Are you ready to make a difference in people's lives? Do you have a passion for providing safe and comfortable housing for individuals and families? We have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently looking for a dedicated Lettings Negotiator to join our team.

As a Lettings Negotiator you will be marketing and letting properties to customers, managing the process from the outgoing customer giving notice to end their tenancy, through to onboarding the new customer into their home. Therefore, part of your week will be sat at a laptop/PC administering the many processes, with the remainder of your time out on site, visiting tenants who have either given in their notice or signing up applicants in their new homes.

The person

Do you have experience of working in a customer facing role, preferably in letting housing, with strong customer care skills, demonstrating high levels of customer ownership and accountability?

Do you have excellent administrative, communication, and decision-making skills?

Are you able to produce clear correspondence and marketing information in plain English and appropriate to target audiences?

Are you well organised, able to cope with high workloads, being able to prioritise and manage competing priorities, delivering work to agreed deadlines and standards? If so, we would love to hear from you.
