Patient and chatty Relief Support Workers wanted in Chesterfield and surrounding areas. Want to enable people with learning disabilities to enjoy the things that they love? We are looking for someone that can support our interests and help us be as active as possible. We are a big group and like different things. Some of the things we like to do are:
- Snooker and darts
- Gardening and singing
- Walks and meals out
- Jigsaws and colouring
- Football and shows at the theatre
- Elvis and rides on trains/trams
We are looking for someone who has the following qualities:
- Lively and is able to support us to be as active as possible
- Skilled in different forms of communication
- Able to balance time to give person-centred support to lots of people
- Sense of humour and will have a laugh with us
- Able to work as part of a team
- Patient and friendly
- Chatty and able to involve us in our support
It is essential that you are able to work weekends, waking nights and bank holidays. If you are trained in supporting with insulin this would be preferable but not essential. Whether you have lots of experience or are new to care we want to hear from you because full training and induction is given.
