A brief summary

This role supports the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s local and global business systems and operational processes, working with business and technical teams to help ensure systems and processes are practical, clearly documented and consistently applied.

The role will have a strong focus on business systems testing, process improvement, documentation, user guides and training, supporting the successful implementation and adoption of new systems and ways of working across the Group.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Manage the creation and maintenance of clear, up-to-date process maps, procedures, work instructions and user guides.
  • Analyse existing business processes, systems and standards, identifying gaps, inconsistencies and practical opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to global business systems implementations and enhancements, supporting agreed project and implementation activities.
  • Create clear and user-friendly documentation and training materials to support the implementation and adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Support business systems testing and UAT, including preparing or following test scenarios, recording results and tracking issues through to resolution.
  • Work with Business Leads and users to understand and document requirements and help translate these into practical systems and process solutions.
  • Assist with system rollouts, user communications, training and adoption activities, providing practical support during implementation.
  • Support continuous improvement and ISO 9001 activities, including maintaining relevant process documentation and following up agreed actions.
  • Work with business and technical teams to identify, report and help resolve system and process issues, while capturing opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide practical support to the Programme Manager with programme delivery and implementation activities, including coordination, documentation and follow-up of actions.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of business process mapping, documentation and continuous improvement, with practical experience in at least one of these areas.
  • High level of competency in Microsoft 365 applications and confidence learning new business systems and tools.
  • Good understanding of how business processes and systems interact and the impact changes can have on operational teams and users.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams, with the confidence to gather information and follow up actions.
  • Strong attention to detail, with an organised and methodical approach to testing, documentation and issue tracking.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, quality management systems or process governance would be advantageous.
