ABOUT THE ROLE
A BRIEF SUMMARY
The role will be predominantly site-based, supporting our Outside Broadcast operation at locations across the globe. You will work closely with our rigging teams on site - with a predominance towards supporting the European Tour Golf contract - including occasional requirements to work from our premises in High Wycombe. Working on site is fast-paced and requires a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, strong timekeeping, and a consistently high standard of workmanship.
Working location: High Wycombe base. On location around the world
Weekly hours: 240 days per year, variable working hours.
Reporting to: Rigging Supervisor / Unit Manager

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Working independently or as part of a team, you will ensure all fibre cables are expertly spliced, tested, fully operational, and ready for use across a variety of projects. This includes but is not limited to:
- Stripping of fibre cables
- Cleaning of fibre cables
- Splicing of fibre cables
- Testing and checking measurements
- Protecting and securing the fibre cables
- Fault finding
- Assisting the rigging team
- Derigging of cables
All employees are expected to contribute and participate in work activities in line with our management system to ensure the continual improvement of our business.

- Proven experience and strong technical knowledge of fibre-optic cabling.
- Demonstrable experience using fusion splicing machines and associated testing equipment.

- Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and organisational skills.
- A high level of attention to detail, particularly when splicing, testing, and fault-finding.
