JOB TITLE: Equipment Bookings Assistant

ABOUT THE ROLE

A BRIEF SUMMARY

Provides administrative support within the Equipment Bookings for a hire company that specialises in wireless camera, audio and communication equipment within the broadcast industry.

Working location: Dartford

Weekly hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Role type: Full-time, Permanent

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

·Booking of equipment from delivery notes and quotations, ensuring the Bookings Department and Hire Desk team is informed of equipment availability

·Liaise with engineers and the warehouse team to follow up missing equipment and other matters associated with equipment returns

·Equipment inventory management including regular stock checks of equipment to allow an accurate record of equipment in the building

·Handling equipment repairs including communicating with manufacturers, creating and filing the appropriate paperwork and following up on all equipment repairs processes.

·General office administration including creating delivery notes, repair notes, missing sheets and hired-in orders, and filing quotes.

·Logging of new equipment into the inventory and labelling old/new equipment with a barcode number to keep accurate records of all assets.

·Ensuring written off/out of service equipment is properly removed from inventory records and liaise with the Accounts team where required.

·Playing a key role in the implementation of new software systems to align with all entities of Gravity.
