What are we looking for? We are currently looking to recruit a part-time Reception Assistant, 2 days a week on a temporary basis. This role can be based from our Penrith office, but we would expect you to travel and work from other offices from time to time.
What will we expect from you:
- Welcoming clients and visitors to the office in a warm, professional manner.
- Managing a busy switchboard, routing calls, and taking accurate messages.
- Maintaining the meeting room calendar and ensuring rooms are prepared and tidy.
- Assisting with general administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Acting as a key liaison between clients, fee earners, and external agencies.
To be able to perform this job you will need:
- Previous experience in a reception or customer service role is highly desirable.
- Experience within a legal, property, or professional services environment is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a clear and confident telephone manner.
- A highly organised approach to managing day-to-day administrative tasks.
- A friendly, approachable, and patient attitude when dealing with vulnerable or distressed clients.
