Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform actuarial analysis to support product development and business strategy, including pricing, reserving, and risk assessment.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., underwriting, finance, and data analytics) to analyse trends and develop predictive models.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of actuarial models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership for decision-making and risk management.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Progress towards an actuarial qualification (e.g., SOA, IFoA) with at least 2-3 exams passed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in actuarial software and Excel; knowledge of programming languages (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
