An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a major infrastructure programme at Hinkley Point C. We are looking for a delivery-focused professional with a strong background in MEP/HVAC works who can ensure the successful execution of complex installation packages within a highly regulated environment.

This role is ideally suited to an individual who thrives on site, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and delivery teams to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with demanding programme requirements. Rather than leading projects from a strategic perspective, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving day-to-day delivery, overcoming challenges, and maintaining progress against critical milestones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of major MEP/HVAC packages on site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain programme commitments.
  • Monitor progress against project schedules and proactively resolve issues that could impact delivery.
  • Ensure all MEP/HVAC installations are delivered in accordance with technical specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.
  • Work closely with planning, engineering, and commercial teams to support successful project execution.
  • Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships through effective communication and reporting.
  • Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements associated with a major nuclear infrastructure project.
Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale MEP/HVAC projects within construction, infrastructure, energy, rail, or other highly regulated sectors.
  • Strong understanding of MEP/HVAC systems, installation methodologies, and site delivery processes.
  • Demonstrable experience working to strict programmes and achieving key delivery milestones.
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple work fronts within a fast-paced project environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience working on major infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  • Rail project experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
What We're Looking For

We are seeking a practical, hands-on Project Manager with a strong track record in MEP/HVAC delivery. You will be comfortable operating in a complex site environment, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and driving progress to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. Experience of delivering MEP/HVAC works within highly regulated sectors will be particularly beneficial.

Package & Benefits
  • Competitive salary.
  • Generous lodge allowance available for candidates staying away from home.
  • Living Away Allowance (LAA) provided where applicable.
  • Opportunity to work on one of the UK's largest and most significant infrastructure projects.
  • Long-term project stability and career development opportunities.
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment.

If you have a strong MEP/HVAC background and are looking to play a key role in the delivery of a nationally significant project, we would like to hear from you.
