We are seeking a driven Cost Estimator to join our growing team in London. The Role

As a Cost Estimator, you'll play a key role in supporting the preparation of accurate cost estimates for complex engineering projects within the nuclear industry. Working closely with commercial, engineering and project teams, you'll contribute to successful tender submissions and project planning.

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and pricing proposals.
  • Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
  • Producing quantity take-offs and cost analyses.
  • Collaborating with engineering, procurement and commercial teams.
  • Supporting tender and bid submissions.
  • Identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Assisting with the continuous improvement of estimating procedures.

About You

We are interested in candidates with strong technical or commercial experience who are looking to develop their career as a Cost Estimator. You'll ideally come from one of the following backgrounds:

  • Cost estimating within an engineering environment.
  • MEP or HVAC projects.
  • Commercial or quantity surveying roles.

You’ll also have:

  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and estimating software would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
