The Role
As a Mechanical Estimator, you will prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for mechanical and HVAC packages on technically demanding projects. Working closely with commercial, engineering and project delivery teams, you will help produce accurate tenders and support the successful delivery of future projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed estimates for mechanical and HVAC installations.
- Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Assess project risks and commercial considerations.
- Maintain estimating records and pricing databases.
- Support project handovers following successful bids.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Estimator.
- Good understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical building services.
- Experience estimating mechanical and HVAC projects.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- Mechanical engineering, building services or HVAC industry experience.
