Are you currently working as a QA/QC Engineer, looking for the opportunity or currently working in the Data Centre Sector? If the answer is yes and you are located in the London region, please read on. Emeya Recruitment are currently working with a leading construction company, they have a strong presence in London particularly within the Data Centre Sector. They currently have a requirement for a QA/QC Engineer to join one of their largest projects, based in central London.
Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with the project team and client representatives, ensuring quality workmanship exceeds expectations.
QA/QC Engineer Role Responsibilities:- Responsible for all QA/QC documentation on the entire project, including calibration, test results, inspection requests, non compliance reports and site instruction/observations.
- As Project QA/QC Engineer, develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests and oversee all testing methods ensuring high standards are maintained.
- Review and approve all materials on site, ensuring quality is maintained across the project.
- Supervise and manage the implementation of testing inspection and schedules across the project.
- Ensure sufficient quality processes are in place to manage for storage of hazardous materials.
- Work closely with the EHS team to ensure method statements are in place for high risk activities.
- Coordinate and work with the client team in relation to audits and inspections.
- Develop and implementation of test plan and checklist for the project.
- Currently working as a QA/QC within the construction environment, or alternatively a similar quality or construction role and keen to go down the QA/QC route.
- A minimum of 4 years experience within the construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a cross functional team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships on site.
- Commutable to projects in London.
- Keen interest in working on Large Data Centre Projects.
