The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Revit MEP Coordinator to join a well-established design and build contractor delivering major projects in and around London. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional with a solid background in MEP building services and BIM coordination to play a key role in the successful delivery of complex construction projects. Working closely with design teams, engineers, subcontractors and site teams, the successful Revit MEP Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring coordinated, accurate and buildable MEP models are delivered throughout the project lifecycle. The position is based in North Surrey, so applicants must be within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) services using Autodesk Revit. Develop, manage and maintain detailed 3D MEP models across major construction projects. Lead and support MEP coordination activities with multidisciplinary design and construction teams. Identify and resolve clashes between building services, structural elements and architectural designs. Produce coordinated models and drawings to support design development and construction. Work closely with engineers, designers, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical issues. Manage clash detection and resolution using relevant BIM coordination tools. Ensure models and drawings meet project requirements, specifications and BIM standards. Attend design coordination meetings and provide technical input where required. Support the transition from design coordination through to construction and installation. Monitor model quality, drawing accuracy and coordination progress against project programmes.
Requirements Proven experience working as a Revit MEP Coordinator or in a similar MEP BIM coordination role. Essential experience within MEP building services and multidisciplinary coordination. Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP and 3D modelling. Experience coordinating mechanical, electrical and public health services. A good understanding of construction methods, installation requirements and buildability. Experience identifying, managing and resolving MEP clashes. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and design information. Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across project teams. Experience working on large-scale construction projects, ideally within a design and build environment. Must be able to commute to the North Surrey office.
