Are you currently working as an MEP Quantity Surveyor, looking for the opportunity to be involved in one of Europe's largest projects, Hinkley Point C? Do you currently live in the South West or are you happy to live and work away (Hybrid set up 3 days on site and a couple of days WFH)? Emeya Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a leading engineering and construction company that specialises in MEP/HVAC installations with a strong track record and reputation within the Nuclear sector, alongside Defence, Rail and Transport.
They are a key delivery partner on Hinkley Point C and currently require an MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their project delivery team at QS/Senior QS level. They are ideally looking for someone commutable to site but are also happy to consider people who want to live and work away. They offer a generous living away package including salary uplifts and lodge allowance.
MEP Quantity Surveyor Role Requirements:
- You will ideally be working as a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor, but they are also open to project Quantity Surveyors looking to take the next step towards Senior level.
- Experience within the Energy, Defence, and Rail sectors would be highly beneficial, but this is not essential.
- You will ideally have a sound understanding of NEC and JCT forms of contract; support will be given if you don't have experience of one of these.
- You will have the ability to take financial control and responsibility on large scale MEP projects.
- Comfortable representing the company at client/site meetings.
- This position is a mix of hybrid and WFH (ideally 3 days on site and 2 WFH but potentially flexible).
