Are you currently working as an Electrical Building Services Design Engineer, with a keen interest in working for a small, growing consultancy where the opportunity to grow with the business is a very real one? Emeya Recruitment are working in partnership with a small yet incredibly ambitious M&E Design Consultancy, they have exciting growth plans longer term and it is an exciting place to be. They work in a variety of sectors with a particularly strong reputation within Education, Heritage, Large Commercial and offices. Due to project requirements and longer term growth plans they currently have a requirement for an Electrical Design Engineer to join the team.
This role offers a genuine hybrid working model, they are ideally looking for someone in the office a couple of days per week in Cambridge and the rest hybrid, they want to employ people who can take responsibility for and manage their own diaries.
Role requirements:- You will currently be working as a Building Services Electrical Design Engineer, with a minimum of 4 years experience within a consulting or design and build environment.
- Ideally Degree qualified and working towards CEng, full support will be given to achieve CEng.
- Comfortable producing high quality Electrical Designs using Revit MEP/AutoCAD.
- Whilst this position is largely remote, you will need to be commutable to central Cambridge and happy to attend the office/site visits a couple of times per week.
- Capable of working on your own initiative, you will report directly into the owner of the business and work closely with them to deliver projects.
- Motivated to help grow the business and as the team grows step into a leadership position, this role offers great potential for career growth.
- As a Building Services Electrical Design Engineer, happy to take the lead on projects including design to RIBA stage 4, site visits, client meetings.
- A Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
