An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious MEP Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team delivering mechanical and electrical works at Hinkley Point C.

As an MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of major MEP packages, supporting the successful delivery of complex mechanical and electrical installations from procurement through to final account.

The Role

As the MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will

  • Manage the commercial delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing packages on the Hinkley Point C project.
  • Prepare cost plans, valuations, forecasts, and final accounts.
  • Administer subcontractor procurement, payments, and contract management.
  • Manage variations, compensation events, and change control.
  • Monitor project costs and provide accurate commercial reporting.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and site teams to support successful project delivery.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure commercial processes are followed while helping deliver the project safely, on programme, and within budget.

About You

We’re looking for an MEP Quantity Surveyor who has

  • Experience in Quantity Surveying within MEP, mechanical, electrical, or building services projects.
  • A solid understanding of cost control, contract administration, and commercial management.
  • Experience managing subcontractor accounts and project valuations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience working under NEC contracts is highly desirable.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

Previous nuclear experience is beneficial but not essential.
