Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, were looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join the team.
This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK.
The Role As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, youll play a key role in the design and delivery of a diverse range of building services projects, taking responsibility for electrical design from concept through to completion.
Youll work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams to deliver innovative, efficient, and sustainable engineering solutions.
A significant proportion of the consultancys workload involves large-scale residential developments, making previous experience delivering major residential projects essential.
Key Responsibilities Design and deliver electrical building services solutions across all project stages.
Produce electrical calculations, specifications, reports, and technical drawings.
Coordinate designs with mechanical engineers, architects, and external consultants.
Attend client meetings and provide technical expertise throughout project delivery.
Ensure designs comply with current UK Building Regulations, British Standards, and industry best practice.
Contribute to the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring quality, programme, and budget targets are achieved.
Extensive experience as an Electrical Building Services Design Engineer within an MEP consultancy.
Strong technical knowledge of power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm, data, security, and other building services systems.
Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and relevant British Standards.
The ability to manage your own workload while collaborating effectively within a remote team.
The ability to travel to London once or twice a month for meetings and collaboration.
Fully remote working with genuine flexibility.
