Emeya Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a leading construction business, considered a market leader in the delivery of safety critical projects. They work in a variety of sectors, with a particularly strong track record within The Nuclear/Energy sector.
They currently have a requirement for a Senior Instrument and Control Lead to oversee the delivery of a large instrument and controls package on Hinkley Point C. You will take full responsibility of the package to drive the delivery of the I&C Package in line with the agreed project programme.
Senior I&C Engineer Role Requirements:- Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, you will take full accountability for the Instrumentation and controls package on Hinkley Point C.
- Work closely with the project team to plan and monitor resource levels, materials requirements and site demands to ensure deliverables can be met.
- Work closely with the client to understand client specifications, working to key milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate with the Design and Engineering department to ensure work is to the highest level and inline with correct standards and specifications.
- As Senior Instrument and Controls Lead, take a leading role in the coordination of works packages alongside other disciplines.
- Procurement of equipment and materials to comply with delivery needs.
- Lead junior members of the project team, offering mentorship and guidance where applicable.
- Commercially aware, recognising variations and delays to the tendered scope to ensure proper reporting.
- Maintain and develop a strong working relationship with the client.
- Attend site meetings and represent the company in a professional manner.
- A demonstrable track record delivering instrumentation and control packages, either from an Instrument and Control or MEP background.
- A proven track record of simplifying complex technical challenges, driving clear pragmatic solutions.
- The ability to manage and control technical deliverables to support and deliver programmes to budget.
- A sound knowledge of instrument and control packages is essential.
- Capable of working in the highly regulated sector on programme led delivery.
- Confident decision maker, capable of working as part of a high performing project team.
This position will require regular travel to Hinkley Point C including overnight stays. If this I&C position is of interest, this position offers a generous basic salary and package alongside the chance to work on one of the UKs largest projects.
